Good Morning,
I know it's been a while since I posted. I apologize. Today I had a nudge to share an e-mail that I sent to some fantastic educators that I know and well I thought I would share it on my Weebly as well.
"Sometimes I just feel the need to plant a few seeds as a education collaborator, leader, advocate, and lover of learning. :) I found this article very engaging and of utmost importance to the future of education. I originally learned about "Cosmopolitanism" from Ms. Lara. I love to hear what she learns in her studies at NCSU, as I know it is cutting edge educational information. Thank you Ms. Lara for always teaching me something new! This morning I stumbled upon this thought provoking article in my e-mail thread, and just thought I would share with you as you came to my mind as someone that might take the read to heart.
You may already be familiar with these terms, but after reading the article I learned some new educational related vocabulary: xenophiles, cosmopolitanism, homophily
I post (well, retweet) a lot of my new learning's and ideas that I stumble upon on twitter. If you haven't explored twitter yet for a place for a PLN (Professional Learning Network), I encourage you to do so with a "cosmopolitan" mindset! I will definitely be more mindful and embrace cosmopolitanism.
Anyway, here is the link: (Please feel free to share it with others!)

Thanks for reading/listening! :) Have a wonderful Wednesday!
